| Easy Drivers, Austria’s largest driving school with almost 60 training locations now bring the future to Motor Traffic Education. As they see it, an industry as old as the relationship between man and the road is ready for a leap into the digital age. After a meeting with the managers at infoWERK and seeing what our company was doing with computer-based multimedia training in the Aviation business, Easy Drivers recognized that this new type of teaching could be applied to training Professional Drivers, both in the area of industrial consumer goods as well as passenger transport.
At the same time, also new legislative measures were taken on behalf of the European Union and concentrate on a harmonization of the regulations within the transportation industry to ensure quality for professional drivers and improvement of traffic and drivers’ safety. infoWERK as a leading and established provider of aviation software solutions is happy to head into this new training area and can easily transfer the principles and technologies of aviation training onto the road training.
Safety and Efficiency, those two principles apply to both, captains of aircraft or ‘captains of the road’. The training to be developed includes Technical features, Human Factors and Knowledge about work environment and will be part of a blended-learning solution consisting of conventional classroom, web-based and practical training.
