infoWERK has supplied its computer-based Dash-8-100 and 300 training programs, as well as its Human Factors training, for Norway's Widerĝe airline, the oldest airline in Scandinavia. The programs are delivered to maintenance personnel via a LAN network and the world-wide web. Practical training at several Wideroe airports will complete the training program.
infoWERK delveloped the Dash-8 training program in cooperation with the training department of Augsburg Airways. The program is based on JAA regulations, and complies with European Directives in accordance with JAR-OPS, JAR-FCL and Part 66. The Human Factors training program was developed by infoWERK. The training programs will be used by Widerĝe to service their fleet of Dash 8 aircraft that serve 40 destinations in Norway and northern Europe. Widerĝe's operations on their Norwegian STOL network is performed under very demanding conditions.
Widerĝe, since May 2002 a member of the SAS group, has more than 300 daily departures. The airline serves more than one million travelers a year in Norway and the north of Europe. |
