| It has already been 5 years since Link & Learn Aviation Training GmbH held its first B1 course with web-based lessons for a small number of Austrian students.
In the years to follow WBT content as well as the number of students grew steadily. 2004 Link & Learn was approved as private school by the educational council. 2005 the first international Cat A and B1 courses were held and later in the year a co-operation agreement with SVFB, the Swiss Aircraft Maintenance Association, was signed. SVFB is now providing web-based Part 66 basic
training nationwide.
2006 the first B2 (Avionic) course was introduced and Link & Learn became a part of the Austrian national apprenticeship training for aircraft technicians. 2007 the fully web-based Fuel Tank Safety Training Level I & II was developed in co-operation with Aero Bildungs GmbH. 2008 the newly developed Module 12 (Helicopters) and Module 16 (Piston Engines) web-based lessons were added to include all groups of Part 66 basic training. A combined B1.1 through B1.4 course was held in Ljubljana for Adria Airways, Slowenian Airforce and Slowenian Police.
Also this year Link & Learn signed a co-operation agreement with SRT for the use the Link & Learn training concept as part of their world-wide course portfolio.
Link & Learn would like to take this opportunity to thank all its valued customers for their continuing support and to wish happy holidays and a prosperous new year. |
