| infoWERK Develops Home Health Care DVD for TILAK |
infoWERK is developing a multimedia-learning program to support private, professional
and volunteer basic home health care givers. This "Care DVD" is being produced in partnership with Health & Education
Gesundheitsausbildung GmbH, a joint venture company of the Tiroler Landeskrankenanstalten
(TILAK) and infoWERK. The multimedia DVD will provide caregivers with essential
information regarding this increasingly indispensable task.
The underlying reason for this project is, most importantly, that in the German-speaking
world there are about 1.5 million chronically ill, handicapped or elderly people
that must be cared for at home - and the number is growing. The number
of well-trained caregivers and the means to train them adequately is simply
not keeping up with the demand.
This multimedia DVD will provide caregivers with valuable professional knowledge
and practical advice from experienced care experts. Providing this valuable
tool in DVD form ensures a training product that is visually stimulating and
accessible from any DVD player-equipped computer. |
