Embraer has awarded infoWERK a Contract to Produce EMB 190 Flight Crew Training

After designing the CBT for the EMB 145 and EMB 170 infoWERK is proud to announce the development of a web-based Flight Crew Training for the new 190 aircraft of Embraer, the Brasilian aerospace company.

Embraer as one of the largest commercial aircraft manufacturers in the world is currently developing a new jetliner family in the 70- to 100-seat category, comprised of the Embraer 170, Embraer 175, Embraer 190 and Embraer 195. The first example of the Embraer 190 aircraft will be delivered within the next months, earlier than previously planned and Embraer is able to offer the CBT before the launch of the new aircraft.

The CBT programme produced by infoWERK is an update from the EMB 170 to the 190 version. This allows the customers to use any version of the 170/190 or 175/195. Furthermore, it is more interactive than the EMB 170 CBT. The training will be used to introduce the aircraft to pilots and flight attendants during their initial tuition but will also be used for the recurrent training.

As a further step to the development of the EMB 170/190 CBT, Embraer has contracted infoWERK to produce the Head Up Guidance System (HGS) for the 170/190 basic training.
