The University for Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology (UMIT) has chosen infoWERK to provide its Learning Management System (LMS) as their new e-learning platform in order to make its existing technology and training programs easily accessible to its faculty, staff and students.
UMIT is Tyrol’s youngest and most innovative university located in Innsbruck. It is the first university in Europe and possibly the world, concentrating entirely on biomedical informatics, health sciences and the novel integration of disciplines that it requires. The private university selected infoWERK after an extensive review of several LMS providers. The faculty was not only pleased with the capabilities, features, and ease of use of the infoWERK e-learning platform, but also impressed with the company’s ability and willingness to incorporate their suggestions into the product.
