infoWERK Submits LTT Outstanding e-learning Product Human Factors for the Multimedia & eBusiness Award

The Multimedia & eBusiness Award, now in its seventh year, is the most important local multimedia prize. It is designed to point out great examples of e-learning in Austria and provides companies a way to showcase their work. The idea behind the program is to help advance multimedia and eBusiness applications by recognizing and spotlighting the best and brightest examples for everyone to follow.

infoWERK has already submitted several of its multimedia and e-learning products in the past years and was happy to win the Award in 2000 for the project 'The Gluing of Swarovski Jewelery Stones'. For this year's award program infoWERK was invited to submit another entry and decided to choose  the online-based 'Human Factors Training' in the category 'Knowledge and e-learning'.

This highly interactive training was developed for Lufthansa Technical Training, is offered in English and German and consists of 7 modules presenting the Human Factors concepts prescribed by the Joint Aviation Authorites. It is designed with a consistent and modern graphical appearance with high visual impact. The complete training has an average contact time of 5 - 6 hours and terminates with an online test. Project leader was Dr. Bill Johnson, a world-wide recognized Human Factors expert and Regional Director for North & Latin America at Lufthansa Technical Training.

An English-language demonstration of the Human Factors web-based training is available at: www.ltthf.com
