infoWERK at the EATS 2009 in Prague

 

As last year, infoWERK will present its products and services at this year’s European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) taking place at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic in November 10-11. Together with Jeppesen and AeronautX, infoWERK will use this great opportunity for the promotion of its joint products as well as for the exchange of information and ideas to constantly improve our products to address our customers’ training needs.

The EATS, now in its eighth year, is known for its carefully managed conference content and the high quality of its speaker presentations. With its accompanying exhibition, EATS provides a uniquely European perspective on civil aviation training, attracting conference delegates, speakers and exhibitors from around the globe. Host air carrier CSA Czech Airlines is assisting in the promotion of the event, particularly in emerging eastern European countries.

AeronautX and infoWERK develop JAR FCL 2010

As a flight school in today’s challenging business environment you need every advantage possible. In response to industry demands for more accessible and operational training, as well as for lower training costs, infoWERK has been offering JAR FCL e-learning solutions for a couple of years now.

The new Joint Aviation Requirements for Flight Crew Licensing (JAR–FCL 2010) have been finalized for all categories of pilot licences so as to permit use of licences and ratings without further formality in any of the participating States.

Since infoWERK as a web-based training provider is keen to keep up with industry standards and keep its products up-to-date it has started a new project in cooperation with AeronautX. In 1998 infoWERK and AeronautX developed the OPS Training according to JAR FCL 2007. The update project JAR FCL 2010 is now under development starting in August 2009 and being completed in May 2010.

The new JAR FCL 2010 Training is another example of infoWERK’s dedication to constantly improving its products to address its customers’ training needs.

Like the JAR FCL 2007, each course of JAR FCL 2010 will be a combination of multimedia-based training, text- and workbook, questions, and presentations for classroom training. If available, already existing training material of your organization will be implemented.

The JAR FCL 2010 training solutions will provide you with:

  • Learning management solutions for student tracking and record keeping
  • Lower cost of training
  • Reduced down time for pilots and instructors

infoWERK provides web-based JAR FCL Training for Motorflugunion Vienna

In response to industry demand for more accessible and operation training, as well as for lower training costs more and more operators and training providers are looking towards e-learning. Also Motorflugunion Vienna, an Austrian Pilot School with base in Bad Vöslau has now decided to head toward this direction.

Motorflugunion Vienna was founded 1966 as a non-profit organization and is, with its 40 years of experience one of the largest power flight organizations in Austria. It prepares students for Private Pilot Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence, ATPL, Instrument Rating, Flight Instructor Rating and others. They have lined up with the best flight schools in Austria thanks to the high attainments of its instructors and technology. To keep and especially improve their excellence in training standards they have decided to add infoWERK’s e-learning solutions in their training portfolio.

The acquired courses include Basic Pilot Training for PPL(A), IR(A), CPL(A), ATPL(A) and High Performance Aircraft. These entire Airline Transportation Courses provided by infoWERK are in accordance with the regulations for Flight Crew Licensing according JAR FCL whereas on the multimedia-based side the products are in line with the recommendations of the Aviation Industry Computer-based Training Committee (AICC).

Fly-West has implemented infoWERK CBT
As another new customer infoWERK is pleased to add Fly-West to its references. The new Flight Training Organisation established this year and located in Innsbruck, Austria offers the complete range of pilot training from PPL to ATPL including all additional authorizations.

Fly-West has selected infoWERK’s Basic Pilot Training for the use in its PPL to ATPL training. Each module is designed to a blended learning approach. The content, presented in clear and concise terms, incorporates a logical sequence and a multitude of visualizations and animations in order to promote the capture of complex relationships which is especially helpful for ab-initio aviation students and those with international backgrounds.

Link and Learn Aviation Training hosts EAMTC Basic Training Work Group conference

This years autumn conference of the EAMTC working group was held in Innsbruck, Austria, during September 17th and 18th. The Link & Learn MD Harald Strehling, chairman of the group, welcomed 20 delegates from 10 Part 147 approved training organizations from France, Germany, Turkey and Skandinavia.

One of the main issues on the agenda was to draft a response to the recently issued EASA Question Data Bank GM. The other topic to present arguments against the EASA proposed change of the Part 66 multiple choice exams.The results of this conference will be presented at the next EAMTC general meeting in Bordeaux, France.
