new "fuel Tank safety (FTS) Training" (easa decision no 2007/003/r) now available at infowerk

Following several aircraft accidents, the influences on fuel tank safety have widely been discussed to establish means by which fuel tank explosions can be prevented in the future. As a result aircraft maintenance personnel have to undergo a Fuel Tank Safety Training as required by EASA but also other authorities and regulations.

infoWERK has developed such a web-based training solution in cooperation with Aerobildung GmbH in Oberpfaffenhofen?and Link&Learn GmbH and?will be released by end of November?in order to meet the needs of people dealing with Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) in their every-day work.

The training will be offered as a Familiarization (Level?1)?or Detailed Training (Level 2). In the Familiarization Training the attendants learn typical terms, the basic elements of the fuel tank safety issues or how to be abel to give a simple description of the historical background and the elements requiring a safety consideration. The Detailed Training goes much deeper into the subject matter.

Web-based?JAR FCL Training for Center air pilot academy

Center Air Pilot Academy, based at the Roskilde Airport in Denmark has signed an agreement for the use of infoWERK?s JAR FCL Web Based Training as additional training tool. It is planned to first implement the topics Principles of Flight, Radio Navigation and Aircraft General Knowledge / Instrumentation into their training.

Center Air Pilot Academy is the largest school for professional pilots in Denmark and one of the first to be approved by CAA to train pilots according JAR. Currently, Center Air conducts MPL (Multi Pilot License) training for Sterling Airlines.

Windrose Air Jetcharter GmbH has chosen infoWERK?s JAR OPS 1 training for the Recurrent Training of its Flight Crews. The recurrent training includes Crew Resource Management, Dangerous Goods Training and Smoke Training.

The documentation of the training as well as the checking is ensured through infoWERK?s Learning Management System.

north cariboo air adds infowerk DHC-8 Training

The Canadian Charter Airlines NORTH CARIBOO AIR has added the infoWERK web-based DHC-8 training to their initial and recurrent training of its Flight Crew at their base in Calgary .

?

infoWERK developed the Dash-8 training program in cooperation with the training department of Augsburg Airways. The program is based on JAA regulations, and complies with European Directives in accordance with JAR-OPS, JAR-FCL and Part 66.

?
